# Verified examples

Worked examples from published sources, solved in Rischio: the source's answers beside the engine's, and where they differ, why.

Each one is a worked example from a published source, built as a Rischio model with its data and solved by the same engine as the studio. Each has its own page, where you can open it in the studio. The same examples are tests in the engine’s code.

## About these examples

Each example cites its source as you’d cite it in a paper (authors or organization, year, title, edition or report number, and the example’s number) so you can check it in your own copy. Each page links to the source: a book to where you can buy it, a report or manual from a public agency to its official PDF. We publish the source’s final answers beside Rischio’s, with the difference, a drawing of our model and, where the two differ, a note in our own words. The problem’s data stays inside the model you open in the studio. We don’t reproduce the source’s text, figures or solution steps, and we use worked examples only, never end-of-chapter problems. No link earns us a commission.

Rischio isn’t affiliated with the authors or publishers of these sources. If you hold the rights to one and want an example removed, write to [hello@rischio.io](mailto:hello@rischio.io).
