General Description

Shallow Foundation Program

Rischio’s Shallow Foundation tool is software developed to evaluate the stability and load-bearing capacity of shallow foundations, such as isolated or strip legs, resting on different soil types. The program uses well-established geotechnical engineering methods to calculate:

  • Ultimate and permissible load capacity
  • Immediate elastic settlement
  • Associated safety factors

If you are a new user, we recommend visiting the Tutorials and Verifications section and following the first tutorial. It will help you become familiar with the basic functions of the software and understand the overall workflow.
